CLAUDIO SIGNORILE – Groove Experience review

CLAUDIO SIGNORILE – Groove Experience

Independent

We consider bass as the instrument that gives the rhythm to a song and actually we think most of the times that its role is really supportive. Even in metal few are the exceptions when bass plays a main role to the music.

Claudio Signorile from Italy is what we can call a bass virtuoso and this is his second album that of course is instrumental and bass plays the first and major role. The artist started to play this instrument in the age of 17 and back then he was self taught, but as his passion kept growing for it, he started studying it more to the point that he has won much discrimination as one of the best bass players in Italy.

“Groove Experience” is a beautiful instrumental album that has nothing to do with the heavy metal sound, but still fuses many styles in it and really has a lot of variety that won’t bore the listener at all. I think that here Claudio mixes influences from such styles like progressive rock, blues and even jazz and of course he throws a lot of grooves in it too. His playing is accurate, impressive and above all imaginative.

If you ask my opinion, “Groove Experience” is an album that can be enjoyed both by musicians that are into this instrument and fans of instrumental music. So, give it a chance.
